When I try to set up an account it won't let me or asks for a group activation code. What is this?

Answer

If you are asked for a group activation code when you try to set up an account then you are trying to use the old version of RefWorks (known as Legacy RefWorks). We have moved to New RefWorks so you can no longer set up accounts in Legacy. Information on how to create an account in New RefWorks is available from our online guide and from the FAQ linked to below.
