Dragon is not working in the Study Room (or on a Dragon Loan Laptop)

Answer

Before you open Dragon on the computer, check that the USB headset is plugged in properly. It may have been disconnected by a previous user.

Follow these steps:

  1. Check the study room USB headset is plugged in.
  2. Wait a moment before opening Dragon to allow the USB Headset driver to install.
  3. Open Dragon.

Follow the same steps if you are using your own headset but disconnect the study room headset first.

If this is the first time you are using Dragon in the study room or on a Dragon Loan Laptop, set up your user profile with your preferred headset before proceeding. Your profile is automatically saved to your home drive, so you can access it from any Dragon computer in the Library.
