Use your laptop or computer to access a specific software via YourDMULabs.

Answer

With the exception of Adobe CC desktop apps, you can access software that is available on your Faculty computers with YourDMULabs remote.

For example, software such as Mind Genius can be accessed via YourDMULabs as a standalone App or via a remote device. Remember to save your work to your student networked H-drive or OneDrive.

If you are accessing design, video editing or audio software, we advise accessing YourDMULabs with the Horizon Desktop Client rather than via the browser as it gives you better driver access (e.g. Wacom, mic connections, etc).

Note: Adobe CC apps (including Adobe Acrobat Pro) are not available remotely via YourDMULabs.

Once you have connected remotely, you can search for an app. For example, search for MindGenius by typing in the Windows search bar.
