How to edit an uploaded recording in DMU Replay (Panopto)

If you have recorded a presentation using any of the following methods below that need to be uploaded into DMU Replay (Panopto), recordings can be further edited using the basic editor in Panopto once uploaded if needed to trim your recording:

Recording options

  • Using MS PowerPoint (slides) to record (audio/camera options), then export as a video which creates a MP4 file format;
  • Using Windows- Recorded using DMU Replay (Panopto) (audio/camera options) by installing the Panopto software which uploads automatically in Panopto's server 
  • Using a MAC - Recorded using DMU Replay (Panopto) (audio/camera options) by installing the Panopto software which uploads automatically in Panopto's server
  • Recorded using MAC iMovie and have a MOV format 

Panopto supports a range of file formats including the known ones  AVI, MP4, MPG, WMV, MOV, QT, ASF, 3GP, WMA, MP3, M4V, and more.
