Add Text Box to video footage on Adobe Express

Answer

You can add text boxes as titles or information to video footage on Adobe Express. Once you have added the Text Box, you can format it by font, size and style.

  1. Add Text: In Adobe Express, click the “Text” option in the toolbar on the left side of the screen.
  2. Type Your Text: Select “Add your text” and enter the text you want displayed on your video.
  3. Customize Text Properties: With the text box selected, use the properties panel to adjust font, size, color, and style.
  4. Position the Text: Drag and resize the text box to place it where you want it on the video.
  5. Adjust Timing: To control when the text appears, enable “Show layer timing” and adjust the timing handles to set the text’s start and end points.
NOTE: If you need to add sources or references to your footage, check your coursework brief for the specific format that your tutor has requested.
