Q. I am being asked for an extra username and password when I try and log in to a library resource – where do I find these?

Most online library resources can be accessed with your DMU Single Sign On credentials but a few online databases or eJournals require different login details. You can find a list of eJournals requiring passwords here. To access this secure list of eJournals passwords, you will first need to enter your DMU Single Sign On details to verify you have access rights as a current DMU student or member of staff. 

If a particular online database requires a different username and password, this will be indicated in the description of the electronic database. You should always access eResources from the DMU Library web site - you can search for online resources using the Database A-Z list or through your Subject Guide.

Please be aware that some of these passwords change annually due to the licence we have signed with the journal or resource provider. Under no circumstances should the usernames and passwords for these eJournals be shared with anyone outside of De Montfort University.
