How can I access Adobe software as a student?

Answer

All Adobe products can be accessed on campus. Should you require access to the Adobe CC home license for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Premiere Pro contact your Programme Leader in the first instance.

Adobe CC apps (incl. Adobe Acrobat Pro) are not available remotely via YourDMULabs.

Students do have free home license access to Adobe apps available on the DMU Adobe Express Plan

  • Adobe Premiere Rush - desktop video editing app (easy to use for non-media production users). Voice-over/narration can be added directly within the app. There is also a library of music content, templates and video effects available within the application.
  • Adobe Photoshop Express - mobile and desktop app for quick photo edits.
  • Adobe Fresco - drawing and painting app built for touch and stylus devices (mobile and desktop app)
  • Adobe Bridge - desktop app - a creative digital asset manager to preview, organise, edit and publish multiple creative assets (files) quickly and easily (edit metadata, add keywords, labels and ratings to assets/saved files).
  • Adobe Portfolio - Quickly build a personalized website to showcase your creative work.
  • Adobe Express makes it easy to get started with thousands of templates, plus assets for social media content, logos, and more. Includes the entire Adobe Stock* royalty-free photo collection plus a full library of Adobe Fonts.
