I'm a new member of staff at the university. How do I get access to the library?

Answer

Your access to the library is part of a package of rights set up for you by your line manager before you start work at DMU.  Your manager completes a form for you with ITMS which enables your IT account, library access and the creation of your staff ID card.  This means that your staff ID card will work straight away to scan you into the library.

If you find that your ID card doesn't work, please ask your line manager as library access is provided as a default, so if you don't have access to our library, it's because your manager has specifically opted out of us providing this.
