Is my PIN number different from my password?

Your password and PIN are different. Your password is at least 8 characters long and is used to access university online resources, such as the Eduroam wifi, Blackboard and e-resources. You can reset your password at: https://mygateway.dmu.ac.uk/students/resetpassword.
Your PIN is a 4-digit number, and is only used within the library. You can receive an email to reset your PIN at: https://prism.librarymanagementcloud.co.uk/dmu/login?auth_reset=true. Your PIN is used to borrow items from the library, such as books, DVDs and laptops, and you can also use it on the library catalogue to reserve items and access the MyAccount feature, where you can reset your PIN and pay off charges on your account.
