You don’t have access to a specific journal article – how do I get hold of this?

Answer

After you have used Library Search (search for the article title) to double check we don’t have access search for the article title on Google Scholar to check if the full text of the article is available Open Access.

If it is not available through these routes and you are first-year undergraduate student or a second-year undergraduate student (up until the Spring term), forget about the article and look for an alternative.

If you are a second-year undergraduate student in the Summer Term or above (third/fourth year undergraduate student; postgraduate student, research student, or member of staff) and the article isn’t available through Library Search or Google Scholar you can request the article through the Inter-Library Loan Service. Instructions for using the service can be found on the Inter-Library Loan Guide.
