How do I search for journal articles?

Answer

Library Search is your search engine for searching across Library resources, including journal articles. Access Library Search here

A bit like carrying out a Google search, start by simply entering a few keywords into the search box.

Once the results of this search are displayed, refine your search in the Source Types heading to Academic Journals on the left of the results.

Consider using further filters on the left hand side of the results list. These include the option to refine by date of publication, availability of the full text, discipline among others.

You can also use the advanced search option by clicking on the Advanced button to the right of the Library Search box, which enables you to add further search terms and exclude others.
