How do I reference multiple works by the same author in the same year in the Harvard style?

Answer

If an author has published more than one document in the same year, distinguish between them by adding lowercase letters in your in-text citation and reference list:

e.g. In recent studies by Smith (2016a, 2016b, 2016c)….
