How does the referencing email tutorial work?

Answer

When booking a tutorial for help with referencing you have the option of booking an email tutorial. This form of tutorial allows you to submit work for feedback on your citation and referencing.

A Librarian will provide feedback via an email to your DMU email account within the 24 hours following your booked time (NOT within 24 hours of you submitting the work).

The feedback will be generalised - there will not be any detailed corrections - we do not proof-read your work.

How to book a referencing email tutorial:

1. Choose a tutorial slot from the Online and Email Referencing Tutorial booking page (Select Option 1: Referencing)

2. Remember to attach your document to the booking form when you complete it

3. Feedback will be provided within 24 hours of your booking time e.g. if you book a slot for Monday at 10am, you will receive the feedback between 10am on Monday and 10am on Tuesday
