How do I practice recording on DMU Replay before submission?

Answer

You can make practice recordings in your DMU Replay Assignment Folder and delete any test recordings before submission.

We recommend that you name your practice recordings as "Test 1", "Test 2", "Test 3", and so on, during the recording process. This helps in organizing your attempts and deciding on which recording to submit. You may wish to follow the steps below to manage your recordings effectively:

Step 1: While recording, name each file as "Test 1", "Test 2", "Test 3", etc., to keep them organized.

Step 2: Review all your practice recordings to determine which one you wish to submit. See also the How to Edit in DMU Replay guide if you wish to edit your recordings.

Step 3: Once you've selected the best recording for submission, go to the Settings of that specific recording. Here, you can rename the recording according to the requirements outlined in your coursework brief.

  • Click on "Edit" to amend the recording title.
  • Then, click "Save" to save the new title.

Step 4: To keep your Assignment Folder tidy, you can delete the other test recordings. This can be done by clicking on the three dots associated with each recording you wish to remove and select "Delete."
