The Library provides access to sources that can help, such as professional or trade journals and authoritative news sources, such as the Economist and FT.com.
Professional or trade journals are aimed at people working in a specific field and often contain updates on current issues in a sector, job advertisements and development opportunities.
Examples of Professional / Trade Journals:
The titles that are relevant to you will depend on the sector you are particularly interested in. If you are not sure which titles may be useful, find out the name of a relevant professional body and check their website, or ask your lecturer for recommendations.
The Library has subscriptions to some professional journals, so you can view the archive of articles. Check whether we have a subscription to a specific title using Library Search to search for the journal title
Most websites for the professional journals will give you some access if you register with them. You can also follow them on social media for updates.
