Where can I get help with referencing and citation?
Answer
If you have a quick question about referencing you can email justask@dmu.ac.uk or use our Just Ask LibChat to ask a question.
You can also contact your subject librarian for advice on referencing.
Librarians provide workshops on referencing and referencing tools (such as RefWorks) throughout the year on the Open Programme of workshops. You can browse the workshops and sign up for a session from the online calendar of workshops. Recordings of the workshops are also available.
If you would like some more in-depth help, you can book a tutorial with a librarian (select the 'Finding information & Referencing' option). Tutorials are 30 minutes long and can be delivered either face-to-face, online via Teams, or you can choose an email tutorial option to upload a draft for feedback via email.
Online learning materials to support you with referencing are available on our Referencing Guide, including the link to Cite Them Right Online.
